  • Yes. Third Ward Little League is a chartered member of Little League Baseball, Incorporated and is covered under Little League’s Federal Group Tax Exemption (Group Exemption Number 3158), which is recognized as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

  • Every contribution goes directly into building and maintaining this league for local kids. Donations help us:

    • improve and maintain the field space,

    • upgrade safety areas and equipment,

    • purchase uniforms and gear,

    • keep registration fees low,

    • and support coach training and program development.

    We prioritize what strengthens the program and supports our players.

  • Yes. We welcome volunteers for coaching, field improvement days, team support, events, and game-day operations. Complete our volunteer interest form or contact us directly to get connected.

  • Yes. We accept select in-kind donations such as new or gently used equipment, practice gear, training tools, bottled water, and game-day supplies. Reach out so we can coordinate what the league currently needs.

  • Yes. Third Ward Little League offers several sponsorship opportunities for businesses, families, and community partners who want to support our players and invest in youth development in Houston’s Third Ward. Sponsorships help fund equipment, uniforms, scholarships, mentorship, and field improvements at George T. Nelson Park.

    We offer multiple giving levels — from our Friend of the League tier to our Legacy Partner level — with benefits such as banner placement, recognition in league materials, and invitations to Opening Day and season celebrations. We also welcome targeted support like equipment donations or covering registration fees for players in need
